Mike & the Mad Dog - Why Are They Still On the Air Waves?

Francesa - A Yankee lover & a Mets hater who only has adequate sports knowledge in baseball, football and horse racing. Why is he one of the most cherished NY sports radio figures? His side kick Mad Dog, although I must admit is often entertaining, has a true appreciation for sports, but lacks sufficient knowledge of most. Both announcers only listen to what they want from callers, and cut calls short all too often. The Fan, and the NY Metro area, would be better off without them.
